Will Skull and Bones finally launch in March?

Skull and Bones is one of the games whose release has suffered more delays in recent years, at least when it comes to titles developed by Ubisoft. In fact, even the game concept is totally different now than what it was when Skull and Bones was first announced at the E3 2017. The original pirate role-playing game has turned into a survival game of sorts with a deep focus on multiplayer and cooperative gameplay. We could finally learn a lot more about the in-game systems and watch gameplay footage last summer and the final system requirements to play Skull and Bones on PC were revealed a few months ago, ahead of the latest release date delay.

Skull and Bones didn’t arrive in November and the release is now scheduled for March 9, 2023. Unfortunately, Ubisoft has been completely silent about the game since the latest release date was announced. Even though it doesn’t necessarily mean that the launch of Skull and Bones will be delayed again, it’s rather unusual for Ubisoft not to have started with a bit more aggressive marketing campaign for the game already. Therefore, it wouldn’t be surprising if the developers didn’t have the game ready for the current deadline. In any case, we can only hope for Ubisoft to be more communicative about Skull and Bones and to be able to play the game very soon.

Skull and Bones promises an experience that is all about taking the role of a pirate captain and living exciting adventures. If you want to command your own pirate ship, explore the seas, fight other pirates and merchants for loot, hunt treasures, and embrace the pirate life in this new take on the genre, you can use our comparator to check out the best video game deals and buy your Skull and Bones code at the best price.
