The Seven Knights – Remake with Unreal Engine 5

Following the closure announcement of the original The Seven Knights game, Netmarble Nexus has announced that they are working on a remake version of the series. The game is currently in development and is slated to conduct its beta test by the 10th anniversary of The Seven Knights.

According to the development team, this new remake of the game will be developed with the latest Unreal Engine 5. The original The Seven Knights game is developed with Netmarble Nexus’s own engine system and it has become more difficult to implement new updates due to manpower shortage. With the shift to the Unreal Engine 5, the team will be able to implement more updates to the game that are more modernized and relatable to the current user’s habits.

Let us hope the remake will retain the game’s original turn-based system.
