Episode 12 of The Eminence In Shadow will be released on Wednesday, December 21st 2022at 6:30 AM PST. The upcoming episode is titled “Kioku no Naka no Shinjitsu,” which translates to The Truth Inside Memories. Episode 12 will see the infiltration of Seven Shadows into the Holy Knights’ arena. Hero Olivier will also debut in the series with the coming episode, and Cid will meet the real Aurora, who is behind the magical door. The Eminence In Shadow Episode 11 Recap
The previous episode starts with Alexia taking a bath in the hot spring, but she is then joined by Cid, which makes her feel uncomfortable. She tries to act normal by starting to discuss the Goddess Trial and says that the trial involves battling with the spirits of legendary historical fighters. She asks him to help her with the Archbishop’s murder by joining the Crimson Knights, but Cid denies it and leaves.
The current temporary Archbishop is Alexia’s new suspect in the murder case, but he cancels her investigation. Alexia encounters Beta in her Natsume Kafka form, and they instantly start to dislike each other. Cid is enjoying the Goddess Trial, and no legendary fighters arrive to battle the warriors, considering them weak. Suddenly, Cid’s name is called out for battle, and he takes on his Shadow form. His opponent is Aurora, the Calamity Witch known as the most powerful witch ever. But Cid defeats her in an instant.
Alexia wonders if Aurora’s arrival might mean Cid is the most powerful person in the world. Cid leaves after defeating her, and suddenly, the magical barrier surrounding the arena shatters, and a new magical door appears. The incident shocks everyone attending the event.
