Street Fighter 6 Arcade Mode Art Revealed :

Capcom has released some new Street Fighter 6, arcade mode art for Ryu. The art by Bengus, was revealed by series director Takayuki Nakayama. The arcade mode art gives a lot of details about Ryu’s pass and what he has been up to lately.

The past returns to haunt Ryu

In the background, we can see Ryu fist bumping his rival/friend Ken Masters. Also pictured are some of the original world warriors, like Zangief, Dhalsim, Guile, Chun-Li, and E. Honda. Additionally, all of the past characters are set to return.

Also pictured is Retsu, who has never been a playable character. Retsu appeared in the very first Street Fighter game, as he fought alongside Ryu. He was later thrown out of the temple for using forbidden arts. A fight with Ryu though showed him the error of his ways and he recanted.

Filling out the background are M. Bison, Akuma, and Sagat. These are three of Ryu’s largest rivals. M.Bison was seemingly destroyed after the end of Street Fighter 5, but as we all know, true evil lives forever.

Sagat is one of Ryu’s regrets. Ryu’s dragon uppercut resulted in the massive scar on Sagat’s chest, after Ryu embraced the darker side of himself. Sagat joined Shadowloo to gain revenge on Sagat. Sagat has somewhat forgiven Ryu, and now the two remain friendlier rivals

Also pictured is Akuma, who is the person responsible for the death of Ryu’s master Gouken. This demonic warrior’s ultimate goal is to get Ryu to embrace his dark side and so they Ryu will finally become a worthy opponent.

There will be a lot more information on Street Fighter 6, so stick to Mega Visions for all of your Street Fighter 6 information.
