Sands of Salzaar has two live DLCs with the update v.1.0.15. The two DLCs include Champion of Chaos, a free content expansion, and The Tournament, a paid DLC that brings a new mode to the game.

Sands of Salzaar DLCs

Champion of Chaos: Free DLC

The Champion of Chaos is a free DLC that contains content that has been added to the base game and was inspired by feedback from players. As NPCs are vital to the game, their skills have been developed around their setting and backgrounds. The hope is to enhance characters and allow adventures to make more straightforward decisions during recruitment.

So, the new skill talent tree has been re-designed with seventeen characters, and the number of skills of the original skill tree has been expanded. The seventeen heroes include Amira Zahra, Princess Bellen, Astrid, Riq, Yousef, Goldie Kabir, Lotus Kabir, Tiqin, Assel, Shahid, Yaya, Galo Zahra, Najima, Batu, Rwal, Threnody, and Tasha. Through these changes in the free DLC, the dev team hopes that players will experience better combat performance and adventures.

The Tournament: Paid DLC

The Tournament is a new mode that involves character cultivation, skill building, and combat elements. What’s fun about this DLC is that adventurers can try various hero combinations to find something that suits their playstyle.

As NPCs have unique personalities and characteristics, adventurers should be able to find heroes that will help them on their journey. It’s important to note that NPCs in 3v3 battles will reveal more chemicals after cultivation.

This DLC has three new mechanics around competitive tournament gameplay, five new NPCs with unique classes, and over 25 new items and skills. For those wanting to purchase The Tournament DLC, it costs USD 4.99, and you will need the base game to play it.
