Kenjaku proves again that power isn’t enough to defeat him.
WARNING: This post contains spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 208Ahead of the official release of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 208, spoilers for the next chapter have already been released, revealing an unfortunate ending for Yuki following the battle between Kenjaku and Tengen.
Jujutsu Kaisen fans had plenty of theories on how the battle would end, with many expecting the heroes to leave the battle victorious; but it seems like Gege Akutami had something else in mind. After all, it turns out Kenjaku is not just a man with supreme powers; he’s one with brains too. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 208 Spoilers
As revealed in the last panel of chapter 207, Kenjaku creates a hole in Yuki’s guts, and now he plans not to give her any time to recover and continues attacking her. We get a short flashback again, and this time, we see Yuki and Choso in smart attire enjoying drinks at a bar, whilst Tengen acts as a bartender. While talking to Yuki, Choso becomes emotional and bursts into tears while remembering his late brothers and Yuji.
The scene then cuts to the present, where we see Choso enraged at Kenjaku for Yuki’s condition and tries to attack him using a Blood Disc, but Tengen draws him out of the barrier. The next panel reveals that Kenjaku’s mini Uzumaki attack doesn’t kill Yuki, but does split her in half, after which Tengen appears to confront Kenjaku, and the latter sees the king of Curses, Sukuna’s form in him. Similar to Sukuna, Tengen also has four eyes.
Suddenly, Kenjaku begins feeling a huge pressure, and we see Yuki hasn’t given up fighting. She makes a last attempt to defeat him by using a technique related to Star Wrath. Using this technique, she can increase her density and mass and create a Black Hole that can even trap light, time, and gravity. The Black Hole causes the destruction of the whole place, but surprisingly, Kenjaku is still revealed to be unharmed, and only his clothes are ripped off.
He then reveals to Tengen that gravity has been the Reverse Curse Technique all this time, while the main Cursed Technique had been Kaori Itadori’s (Yuji’s mother) Anti-Gravity Technique. Kenjaku would have been caught up in the explosion, but by enhancing the unstable CT with his Domain, he was able to save himself from Yuki’s attack. The chapter ends with Kenjaku finding Tengen’s real body, which looks like a child in a womb, and he calls them friends and bids farewell.
