Is Wayfinder Cross Platform?
Yes, Wayfinder will have cross platform support across all platforms after it leaves the early access period. This means players can join their friends from any platform and take on quests together.
This was confirmed in the official FAQ provided by the developers.
IS THE GAME CROSS PLAY AND CROSS SAVE? Yes! Wayfinder will be completely Cross Play and Cross Save when it is out of Early Access and fully released, meaning you’ll be able to play anywhere you want and with all your friends regardless of what platform you are playing on!
Keep in mind, crossplay support will be initiated after the title comes out of Early Access, which is currently announced for the same year of release.
This FAQ also confirms that Wayfinder has cross save support, meaning you’ll be able to continue your progress on any platform and pick up where you left off. It’s nice to see the developers confirm these details before the launch, and we hope they remain committed to this.
Wayfinder Release Date
Wayfinder will launch on PC and PlayStation consoles as an early access title in Spring 2023. It will fully release in the Fall of 2023 on Xbox platforms as well.
