The second annual South Asian Excellence pre-Oscars party was hosted by Priyanka Chopra on Friday at Paramount Pictures Studios in Hollywood. The event was planned to recognize and honour the South Asian nominees for this year’s Academy Awards. Priyanka Chopra, Mindy Kaling, Malala Yousafzai, and other South Asian celebrities served as the event’s hosts. Preity Zinta, Jr. NTR, Nick Jonas were among those present at the event.
Priyanka wore all-white clothing. The actor posed for photos alongside Hannah Simone, Freida Pinto, Poorna Jagannathan, Nick, Malala Yousufzai, and one of the singers from SS Rajamouli’s RRR’s Naatu Naatu song.
Priyanka also gave a speech on providing a safe space for the next wave of Hollywood film talent and how the community will support them by standing behind them and encouraging them in their future endeavours.
