Gotham Knights Runs Smoother On PS5 Than Xbox Series X On Latest Patch

The folks at Digital Foundry have put the latest patch for Gotham Knights through its paces on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

While the team note that the all versions of Gotham Knights perform better than the launch version of the game, the PS5 edition seems to have the edge in frame rate.

Unfortunately they do lag behind the PS5 release here, despite the enhancements over the launch code. The primary problem to dropped frames during fast traversal. Both Xbox’s have this same problem here; a predictable, if somewhat infrequent pattern of 50 millisecond frames while driving at fast speed.

Gotham Knights was released for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in October 2022, and you can read our full verdict here. Developer WB Games Montreal posted up a job listing late last year that indicates the studio is working on a multiplayer title for its project.
