Get Simtimate with The Sims 4

Valentine’s Day is coming and it’ll soon be a time to cosy on up to your nearest and dearest. Yep, The Sims 4 will fully embrace that too, with a rather simtimate new Collection. Oh, there’s the chance to tidy up your bathroom too. But who wants to do that!?

Available today for The Sims 4 players on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 or PC (covered on Steam, the EA App or Mac via Origin) are a couple of new DLC packs for The Sims 4 players to enjoy.

For many we would assume it’ll be the Simtimates Collection Kit which is of most interest, as this will allow you and your little Sim friends to get all fun and flirty, kitting them out in a host of new contemporary loungewear pieces. Lace, straps, silhouettes – what more could you ask for?

Well, much more as it seems as the Simtimates Collection Kit brings a host of different materials to the party, as well as a variety of colours and patterns. There are numerous underwear styles too, bodysuits and boxers to match.

The bits and bobs included in this pack have come about via a partnership between The Sims and MeUndies, as they’ve designed assorted items in the Simtimates Collection Kit that flatter every body, with fun prints that show off individuality and personality, allowing your Sims to get comfy and intimate. And – press blast copy and paste time – ‘It is important to both MeUndies and The Sims, that people, and Sims, feel confident and empowered in their bodies, and by extension, their clothes. Our items will look great on all shapes and sizes. Add confidence to your Sims’ closets with bedroom styles inspired by today’s fashion trends.‘.

If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of Valentine’s, then perhaps the other pack available today will be more interesting – The Sims 4 Bathroom Clutter Kit. Yep, adding this pack into your game will encourage your Sims to keep tidy, giving additional drawers for them to stow away those bathroom essentials. Or you could just leave them with a floor to throw everything on. Your call.

Whether it be the cute wall decals for kids, or the inclusion of grandma’s dentures, this kit has something for everyone, as you look to transform your Sim’s bathroom into an elegant retreat where they can escape life’s mayhem. Or, let that mayhem spill over into the open and let your Sim fully embrace the clutter. With this kit, you can create spaces that reflect the personalities of a variety of Sims.

You’ll need a copy of The Sims 4 to hand in order to enjoy these two new DLC packs. But if you have that, crack on and get your downloads moving today. You’ll find the base game and the DLC over on the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Other format fans can hunt it out on their relevant store too. Expect to pay £4.99, or £4.49 if you’ve an EA Play subscription.
