Get Death Stranding for free on PC this week

Epic Games Store has gained a lot of terrain during recent years in its competition with Steam to be the most important digital video game distribution platform. One of the methods used to reduce the gap between them has been to give away one or more free games on a weekly basis since the Epic Games Store was open. If you’ve claimed all of them, you probably have over a hundred titles in your library right now, and that number can increase this week with a new addition.

On the occasion of its new “Mega Sale 2023”, Epic Games Store is offering Death Stranding for free on PC to all players that claim it. Unlike the previous time the offer was available on the platform, you have a whole week to claim the game. It will be replaced by a mystery game next Thursday, and we expect it to be another big hit.

A game like no other

Hideo Kojima’s latest adventure left no one indifferent when it was released in 2019. Death Stranding is set in a post-apocalyptic version of the United States where the world of the living and the world of the dead have merged into one. You take the role of freelance courier Sam Porter Bridges, who is in charge of delivering supplies from one of the few remaining human settlements to another. Braving the deadly rain and otherworldly creatures, you will embark on an epic sci-fi adventure that only Kojima could have created.

A free game is not the only surprise that Epic Games Store has prepared for you this week. You can also get a 25% off coupon for your purchases. Epic Games has also announced a new Epic Rewards program that will encourage you to return to the store.

“For every eligible purchase on the Epic Games Store, you’ll receive 5% back of the total spent as credit to use in the store.”

Whether you decide to take advantage of this opportunity or not, remember that you can always use our comparator to check out the best deals on video games across all platforms, including, of course, big and upcoming hits like Death Stranding, Hogwarts Legacy, Street Fighter 6, Armored Core VI, and many more.
