Covered in blood, he patiently waited for rescue.

This poor boy’s neck wound was hidden beneath blood-soaked fur.

He could have run, but he didn’t. He sat perfectly still, seeming to trust that help was on the way. His tail wagged gently as soon as we picked him up. And once his wound-dressing was complete, this life-loving boy thoroughly enjoyed his first meal.

The wound could have become life-threatening without treatment. But with just a few weeks of hospital care, he healed beautifully! Without rescue, adorable Paco might never have moved from that patch of construction rubble.

But thanks to your help, Paco is healed, neutered, vaccinated, and home with his friends.
