CI Games lays out business roadmap

Developer and publisher CI Games has given us a bit more visibility on what it has planned for the coming years.

The firm currently actively working on three projects. The first is a new PvE multiplayer title called Project Scorpio that’s being helmed by CI Games’ in-house studio, Underdog. This is going to be a service-based title once it is released.

Next up is Project Survive, a brand new IP that’s being built with Unreal Engine 5 and is being developed by third-party studio Batfields. Finally, there’s The Lords of the Fallen, formerly known as Lords of the Fallen 2, which is being helmed by CI Games’ first-party studio, Hexworks.

The company is also bringing in another partner studio to work on its Sniper Ghost Warrior franchise alongside Underdog so that the developer can focus on Scorpio.

All of this is on top of CI Games’ third-party publishing arm United Label, which plans to release between one and three projects every year.

“Over the last three years CI Games has gone through a major change, transitioning from a Polish-centric operation to become a developer and publisher with a truly pan-European management and team structure,” CI Group CEO Marek Tyminski said.

“With our evolved global strategy and roadmap focused on premium console and PC content we are ensuring continued success and future growth for the business. We look forward to further developing both new and existing IPs, while also diversifying our portfolio into other exciting areas of entertainment.”

CI Games is eying up an IPO in London at the moment. The firm’s flagship franchise, Sniper Ghost Warrior, has sold over 13 million copies to date.
