Auto-tech Startup Fixigo Raises Seed Funding


Fixigo, an auto-tech startup, has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round led by Agility Ventures. The funding round also saw participation from industry veteran and Director of iGlobe Telecom, Tarun Kalra and Alienics Inc, a Canadian investment firm, along with a few other angel investors.

As per the startup, the raised funds will be used to expand its services in newer markets and brand-building exercises.

Founded by industry stalwarts Sami Saik (CEO), Tarun Malhotra (CTO) and Ajay Pahwa in 2019, Fixigo is an auto tech startup disrupting the after-sales car repair and maintenance segment.

The startup provides hassle-free and reliable services to car owners/customers at an affordable price.

Speaking about the development, Sami Shaik, Co-founder of Fixigo, said,

“There is a huge demand for affordable and quality multi-brand car repair and maintenance services in India that is largely unorganized. Funds raised in the seed round had been deployed to create awareness on the brand FixiGo, spreading the operational reach of the brand and investing in technology to enable our workshops to achieve efficiency in business processes.”

Fixigo started as a mobile car washing service company, but later it pivoted and expanded its footprint to become one of the most trusted and preferred tech-enabled car repair and maintenance brands in India.

Leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovation, the auto-tech startup also empowers garage owners with Up skilling and technology enablement to transform their businesses and upgrade Infrastructure to improve service delivery and open multiple revenue streams.

The Delhi-based startup is fast-tracking its base in India. Fixigo has already opened its branches in Bengaluru, with plans to enter some top cities of India like Pune, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

Currently, the auto-tech startup has a presence in Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Mohali, and Ambala. It aims to cater to the pool of over 4 crore car parks in India, with car owners spending an average of Rs 5000 per car per maintenance.
