Alone in the Dark Spotlight on May 25

It is unsure what will be showcased in the spotlight but we imagine it will answer some important issues like the story, controls, environment, and accessibility. Moreover, we may get more information about Alone in the Dark including some proper gameplay.

Alone in the Dark takes place in the 1920s American South, in a gothic setting with Lovecraftian horror elements. The original Derceto Mansion from the 1992 game comes back in a new way, along with other places that have to do with Derceto. Emily Hartwood and Edward Carnby are returning as the main characters in the game. In addition to that, the game can be played from a third-person over-the-shoulder perspective. This is a similar format followed by many horror franchises like Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

The game is the seventh entry in the iconic horror franchise, being developed by Pieces Interactive. It is the first game after 2015’s Alone in the Dark: Illumination.
